Allasandra submitted entries in the Reflections contest a National PTA contest in the arts. Each year, students in Grades Pre-K through 12th reflect and bring a specific theme, selected each year by the National PTA, to life by creating original artwork in dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. This year’s theme was “Magic of a Moment.”

Allasandra submitted two entries, one for literature and one for film production.  The students compete by age group; Allasandra competed in the Middle School Division.  Each time the student places, their entry moves up to the next level.

The levels are as follows:

Literature
1st place at the local level
1st place at the regional Level
1st place at the state level

Film Production
2nd place at the local level
1st place at the regional level
2nd place at the state level

Only 1st place winning entries from states move on to compete in Nationals. So, her Literature piece is currently being judged at the National level.  Congratulations Allasandra, good luck at the National Level.
