Our Junior Club programs include options for all levels of skaters, from those taking a step beyond Learn-to-Skate, to those intensely involved in competition, to everyone in between. Programs include:
Aspire Program For Levels: Basic Skills 3-6, Freeskate 1-6 up to Axel Our "Bridge" program from Learn to Skate. This program will be divided into two-levels on the ice. It's designed for :

Our junior assistant program is an opportunity for skaters with a desire to become figure skating coaches to train with HFSC coaches and learn the skills necessary to become a Learn to Skate USA coach.

Coaching staff will assist you in obtaining these additional requirements:
During this training, you will learn how to teach Learn to Skate USA Basic Skills, Snowplow Sam, Freestyle, and Hockey levels; how to handle various on-ice and off-ice situations; how to provide positive feedback to skaters and their families as well as constructive criticism; how to encourage skaters to do their best while having fun; and how to teach in many different styles of coaching to accommodate the many different types of learning techniques and abilities.
Upon competition of the program, you will receive a certificate and a HFSC Junior Assistant jacket awarded at our annual banquet !
